This hotel was great! Even thought it is a bid old, it was very clean and the staff made me and my family feel very welcome. We had some trouble at the clinic we came to visit and we needed more time to check out. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Stay here it's worth it!

Good for a Stop Over
We used this hotel as a one night stop over from our trip in the Florida Keys. From the reviews it appears this hotel used to be a an America's Best but now it is a Days Inn. It was an older hotel but it was clean and everthing was in working order. The hotel itself appeared to be updated but the rooms were somewhat dated. The rooms were clean however. The property was well lit. We did have trouble opening up the sliding glass door but once it was opened it was nice being able to park in front of our room to unload our belongings. The property had a washer and dryer and I appreciated being able to do some of our laundry since we had been on the road for an extended period of time. It was very close to the beach and to restaurants such as Sticky Fingers (BBQ). The pool was clean and the free breakfast was good. The hotel staff was great with the exception of one employee. There are no frills but this hotel served our needs for the price.

Good for a Stop Over Nice and Economical
We had a one-nighter for a fishing tournament. It's in the city, not the beach, but it's close to the beach and the restaurants, etc. that are cool there. It was clean and had a continental breakfast that started at 6 a.m., but the girl was cool and let us grab a couple muffins in order to make our 4:30 a.m. departure. Enjoy, there's tons of shopping around the area also.

Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, and surrounding areas are closely and actively monitoring the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
To date, there has been no threat to our beaches.
